Infested trees will begin to thin as a result of the nutrient-conducting tissue being destroyed under the bark of the tree . A heavy infestation will cause canopy die-back, usually starting at the top of the tree. If not treated properly within a year one -third to one-half of the branches could die.
Proper treatment can save these ash trees, and many treatments are safe and affordable! We are now a state certified restricted-use pesticide applicator and we are currently giving FREE estimates on injecting ash trees to save them from the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) making its way into our area.
